WhatsApp formatting vs Unicode fonts

WhatsApp has its own built-in formatting: wrap a word in asterisks for *bold*, underscores for _italic_, and tildes for ~strikethrough~. That works inside chats, but it doesn't help in places that ignore formatting, like your About line or your display name.

Where to use styled WhatsApp text
